Licence terms
Last updated: 21 Oct 2026
This is a convenience translation. Only the German version is legally binding.
The licensor is Get IT Done GmbH, Preißlerstraße 7e, 90429 Nürnberg, Germany ("we"). Our terms and conditions apply in addition.
1. Subject
(1) These terms govern how the customer may use the Enterprise edition of Die Kette. This includes in particular the agents, skills and commands for Claude Code, the UX and UI review rules, the Engineering Enterprise rulebook, the design system documentation and, from the promised update by 30 November 2026, the npm packages of the design system and the Figma files ("licensed material").
(2) The Community edition of Die Kette and other parts published under the MIT licence remain under the MIT licence. Only the MIT licence applies to them, even when they are shipped with the Enterprise edition. These terms do not restrict the MIT licence.
(3) Third-party components, for example open source libraries, fonts or icons, keep their own licences. The licence notices are included with the respective components.
2. Right of use
(1) Upon full payment, the customer receives a simple (non-exclusive), non-sublicensable right to use the licensed material without time limit within the scope of their licence tier. It may only be transferred under clause 6.
(2) In particular, the customer may:
- install the licensed material and use it with Claude Code,
- use the design system packages and Figma files in their own projects and in projects for their own clients,
- adapt agents, skills, commands and rulebook for their own purposes,
- build and ship applications that include design system packages as a component, as long as the packages are not recognisable or retrievable there as a standalone product.
(3) Licence tiers:
- Solo: use by one individual natural person, on up to 3 devices. If a company buys Solo, it assigns the licence to one person.
- Team: use by up to 10 specific persons within one company, including its employees and freelancers working for the company, on up to 20 devices in total. If a person leaves, the company may replace them with another person and informs info@itdone.de. Team is available to businesses only.
3. What is not allowed
(1) The customer may not
- sell, rent, give away or otherwise pass on the licensed material or parts of it to third parties, except for a transfer under clause 6,
- publish the design system packages, agents, skills or rulebook as their own product or as part of a product whose purpose is to pass on this content, for example as a UI kit, template collection, agent or skill pack,
- place the licensed material in publicly accessible repositories, registries or marketplaces,
- pass on the licence key, the documentation credentials or npm registry access tokens to persons outside the licence,
- circumvent the device limit or the licence check.
(2) Acts permitted by mandatory law, in particular under Sections 69d and 69e German Copyright Act (UrhG), remain unaffected.
4. Output belongs to the customer
(1) Code, designs, texts and applications the customer creates with the help of the licensed material belong to the customer. We claim no rights in them.
(2) Where such output contains parts of the licensed material, such as design system packages, the customer may use and ship it within clause 2. The customer's clients may use, operate and have the shipped application developed further without buying their own licence. Anyone who develops further using the licensed material themselves needs their own licence.
(3) We give no warranty that output of AI models is free of third-party rights. Liability is governed by the terms and conditions.
5. Devices
(1) Each device on which kette login runs successfully takes one slot of the licence. A device is recognised by a randomly generated device ID. After the update, each device gets its own access token for the npm registry. Access tokens for automated environments such as CI do not take a device slot: up to 2 for Solo, up to 5 for Team.
(2) kette logout removes the licence key and package from the device but does not free the slot. Our support frees a slot on request to info@itdone.de. We may refuse releases that evidently serve to circumvent the device limit.
(3) Anyone who needs more persons or devices buys the Team licence.
6. Transfer
(1) The customer may transfer the licence to another party only as a whole. Splitting it, for example across several persons, devices or companies, is not allowed.
(2) The customer informs us of the transfer in advance in text form at info@itdone.de, with the name and email address of the new holder. A Team licence can only be transferred to a business.
(3) Upon transfer, the previous customer's right of use ends. They delete the licensed material from their devices. The new holder takes over the licence with the remaining update period and these terms.
7. End of the licence
(1) The licence ends if the purchase price is refunded in full, for example after a withdrawal, or if the customer charges back the payment without a justified reason.
(2) We may terminate the licence for good cause, in particular for a material breach of clause 3 that is not remedied within a reasonable period after a warning in text form.
(3) When the licence ends, we block the licence key, the npm registry access tokens and access to the documentation and the Figma downloads. The customer may then no longer use the licensed material and deletes it from their devices. Output lawfully created and shipped until then under clause 4 stays with the customer and may continue to be used.
(4) The Community edition remains usable under the MIT licence.
8. Intellectual property
All rights in the licensed material not expressly granted remain with us or the respective rights holders. Copyright notices and licence notices in the licensed material must not be removed.
