Terms and conditions
Last updated: 21 Oct 2026
This is a convenience translation. Only the German version is legally binding.
These terms apply to the purchase of Die Kette, Enterprise edition.
1. Provider and scope
(1) The provider is Get IT Done GmbH, Preißlerstraße 7e, 90429 Nürnberg, Germany, represented by its managing directors Alexander Friedl and Bertram Holzer, registered with the commercial register of the Local Court (Amtsgericht) Nürnberg under HRB 45641, VAT ID DE462080651. Email: info@itdone.de, phone: +49 157 58150846 ("we").
(2) These terms apply to the purchase of licences for Die Kette, Enterprise edition, via kette.itdone.de ("product"). A consumer is anyone who concludes the contract mainly for private purposes (Section 13 German Civil Code, BGB). A business is anyone acting in the course of their commercial or independent professional activity (Section 14 BGB).
(3) The Solo licence can be bought by consumers and businesses.
(4) We sell the Team licence to businesses only. By placing the order, the buyer confirms that they are buying as a business within the meaning of Section 14 BGB. Consumers cannot buy Team.
(5) Our Licence terms additionally govern the scope of the rights of use. They form part of the contract.
(6) Deviating terms of the customer do not apply, even if we do not expressly object to them.
(7) The Community edition of Die Kette is free of charge and licensed under the MIT licence. Only the MIT licence applies to it. These terms do not apply to it.
2. Product
(1) According to the product description on kette.itdone.de, the Enterprise edition includes in particular agents, skills and commands for Claude Code, the UX and UI review rules, the Engineering Enterprise rulebook and access to the design system documentation with components, rules and prototype. The npm packages and Figma files of the design system follow as a promised update (paragraph 4). The description at the time of the order is decisive.
(2) The product is digital content. It is not supplied on a tangible medium.
(3) To use it, the customer needs their own software and accounts, in particular Claude Code with an Anthropic account, a terminal on macOS, Linux or Windows and internet access for login and updates. These are not part of the contract. The current requirements are listed under Setup.
(4) We deliver the npm packages of the design system in the scope @getitdone-gmbh (tokens, component library, zero and zero-pages) and the Figma files (.fig) as an update at no extra charge by 30 November 2026 at the latest. The customer obtains the packages through licence-bound access to the npm registry at npm.kette.itdone.de, with a separate access token per device. We provide the Figma files as a download. To use them as a library, the customer needs their own Figma plan that can publish libraries. We announce the release by email.
3. Conclusion of the contract
(1) The presentation of the product on kette.itdone.de is not yet a binding offer.
(2) Clicking the buy button takes the customer to the checkout page of our payment provider Stripe. There the customer enters their details, accepts these terms and the licence terms and completes the order with the button for an order with obligation to pay. This is a binding offer.
(3) The contract is concluded as soon as the payment has been completed successfully and the order confirmation is shown. At the latest it is concluded when we send the email with the licence key.
(4) Before completing the order, the customer can review and correct their entries on the checkout page.
(5) The contract language is German. The English version of the legal texts is a non-binding translation.
(6) We do not store the contract text for retrieval by the customer. The customer can retrieve and save these terms, the licence terms and the withdrawal policy on kette.itdone.de. The customer also receives the contract details by email with the order confirmation.
4. Prices and VAT
(1) The prices at the time of the order apply.
(2) Solo costs a one-time EUR 249 including statutory VAT.
(3) Team costs a one-time EUR 990 plus statutory VAT.
(4) If a business from another EU member state with a valid VAT ID buys, the tax liability shifts to that business (reverse charge). Stripe calculates this on the checkout page and shows it on the invoice. The checkout page shows the final amount before completion.
(5) This is a one-time payment. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.
5. Payment and invoice
(1) Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited. The payment methods shown on the checkout page are available.
(2) The price is due when the order is completed.
(3) The customer receives the invoice by email from Stripe on our behalf. Businesses enter their VAT ID on the checkout page so that the invoice is issued correctly.
6. Delivery
(1) After successful payment we send the customer an email to the address given without undue delay, usually within a few minutes. It contains the licence key, instructions for installing with the Kette CLI and a download link for offline installation.
(2) Installation is done with the command kette login and the licence key. The CLI downloads the Enterprise package.
(3) The download link in the email is limited in time and in the number of downloads. The limits are stated in the email. After that, installation via the CLI remains possible.
(4) We set up access to the design system documentation for the buyer's email address. For Team, we set up separate accesses for further persons within the licence on request to info@itdone.de. After the update, the command kette login sets up access to the npm registry (section 2 paragraph 4) on each device.
(5) If the email does not arrive, the customer contacts info@itdone.de.
7. Updates and access
(1) For 12 months from the purchase, the customer receives new versions of the Enterprise edition, insofar as we publish them. The customer downloads them with the command kette update. This also applies to new versions of the npm packages and new releases of the Figma files.
(2) After the 12 months, the version last obtained remains usable without time limit. The last version released within the 12 months also remains installable on new devices within the device limit. We do not owe further updates.
(3) Towards consumers, we additionally provide the updates required under Section 327f BGB to keep the product in conformity with the contract, in particular security updates. This applies for the period the consumer can reasonably expect given the type and purpose of the product.
(4) We provide access to the design system documentation and the npm registry as long as the licence exists.
8. Device limit
(1) Solo may be activated on up to 3 devices, Team on up to 20 devices. After the update (section 2 paragraph 4), the customer may additionally create access tokens for automated environments such as CI that do not take a device slot: up to 2 for Solo, up to 5 for Team.
(2) Each device on which kette login runs successfully takes one slot. Logging in again on the same device does not take another slot.
(3) The command kette logout removes the licence key and the package from the device. The slot stays taken. Our support frees a slot on request to info@itdone.de, for example for a new computer.
9. Support
(1) Support is provided by email to info@itdone.de, in German or English.
(2) We reply as quickly as possible. We do not owe a fixed response or resolution time.
(3) Support covers questions about delivery, licence, installation and device releases, and reports of defects in the product. Consulting on customer projects is not included.
10. No availability commitment
(1) The product is not software as a service. After installation, agents, skills and rulebook run locally on the customer's machine.
(2) We use online services for login, updates, download, the design system documentation and the npm registry. We aim for high availability but do not commit to any specific availability. Maintenance and outages may interrupt access temporarily.
(3) We are not responsible for third-party services, in particular Claude Code and Anthropic's services. If a third party changes its software so that parts of the product no longer work as described, we adapt the product as part of the updates where this is reasonable for us. Consumer rights under Sections 327 et seq. BGB remain unaffected.
(4) Agents and skills use AI models. Their output can be wrong. The customer reviews output before using it.
11. Warranty
(1) For consumers, the statutory provisions on digital products apply (Sections 327 et seq. BGB).
(2) For businesses, the statutory provisions apply with the following deviations. Defects must be reported to us in text form at info@itdone.de without undue delay, at the latest within 14 days of discovery. We remedy defects at our choice by repair, by an update or by a workaround. The limitation period for warranty claims is one year from delivery. This does not apply to damage claims under clause 12 or in case of fraudulent intent.
12. Liability
(1) Towards consumers, we are liable in accordance with the statutory provisions.
(2) Towards businesses, we are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act and where we have given a guarantee.
(3) If we breach a material contractual obligation towards businesses through slight negligence, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. A material obligation is one whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment the customer may regularly rely.
(4) In all other cases, our liability towards businesses is limited to the purchase price paid.
(5) For loss of data, we are liable towards businesses only to the extent that would have occurred with regular backups appropriate to the risk.
(6) These limitations also apply to our officers, employees and agents.
13. End of the licence on refund or chargeback
(1) If we refund the purchase price in full, for example after a withdrawal, the licence ends. The licence key is blocked and access to the documentation, the npm registry and the Figma downloads ends. New installations and updates are then no longer possible.
(2) If the customer charges back the payment without a justified reason, paragraph 1 applies accordingly. The obligation to pay remains.
(3) The licence terms govern the consequences for use. The Community edition remains usable.
14. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a right of withdrawal as set out in the withdrawal policy. For digital content it can expire early if the consumer expressly agrees to immediate performance and acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal. Businesses have no right of withdrawal.
15. Data protection
How we process personal data is described in the privacy policy.
16. Changes to these terms
For contracts already concluded, the terms in the version at the time of conclusion apply. Changes only apply to new purchases.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
(1) German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the country of their habitual residence.
(2) If the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from the contract is Nürnberg. We may also sue the customer at their general place of jurisdiction.
(3) If a provision is invalid, the rest of the contract remains valid. The statutory provisions then apply.
18. Consumer dispute resolution
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
